How to write and submit a Tweet:
- Sign into Tweets.
- Begin compsing your Twitter update above the feed, or click on the new Tweet button at the top of your screen.
- Create your Tweet with lower than 140 characters.
- Include a #hashtag so relevant followers can find your account.
- Tag a person using ‘@’ followed by their twitter handle.
- Follow a Tweet formula as a starting point for concepts.
Unsure what to tweet to get your followers to engage with you? Whether that you simply just getting started along with Twitter or you’ve used it for a while, but think that you’re in a rut, it can be hard to come up with new suggestions for what to publish.
Sometimes, it can help to follow several tried-and-true tropes. Here are a variety Twitter “formulas” you can adhere to.
Just make the following changes to each one:
- Fill in the particular “blanks” where the [BRACKETS] are.
- Edit the particular #hashtag with the actual hashtag you’d like to use (e. gary the gadget guy. #marketingtips). Hashtags make it easy for people to find your tweets whenever they’re tracking that hashtag, so you can find more relevant followers.
- Replace @TwitterHandle having a person’s real Twitter manage (e. g. @HubSpot).

1 . Use “The Basic Contributed Content Tweet”

This go-to twitter update style is the easiest in order to execute, but many times, individuals forget to include a relevant hashtag and the author’s Twitter handle. The hashtag could get your own tweet more exposure to people following that hashtag. Plus always credit your information source (the author or the site you got the post from) on social media. It’ll display appreciation to the original content material creator — and they might return the favor by sharing some of your content with their followers.

2 . Try “The Shared Content Tweet With Commentary”

Like the basic discussed content tweet, this tweet includes the article title (or a shortened version), another hashtag, and the author’s Tweets handle. But in addition, you’ll include your opinion — be it a quick “+1” or something a little more in-depth. Something personal like that might increase wedding rate with your tweet.

3. Retweet With Commentary
Typically, when you want to retweet someone’s twitter update, you’ll simply click the retweet button and share the content along with your followers. But if you want to know how to retweet with a little taste, we’re going to show you. There are two ways to add commentary to a retweet: using the “retweet with comment” feature or composing a brand new tweet and publishing this manually.
a) Using the “retweet with comment” feature.

[EMBEDDED ORIGINAL TWEET]
The “retweet along with comment” feature allows you to add an original tweet within your very own message, and then comment on this in up to 116 characters. To do this, click the retweet icon at the bottom of the tweet. In the window that will appears, add your remark to the “Add a Comment” section (and include a hashtag, if you so desire).

b) Manually retweeting along with commentary.

In order to retweet with commentary in this way, simply copy and paste the person’s tweet into a brand new tweet, preface the tweet with RT @TwitterHandle, plus add commentary to the starting. If you modify their tweet at all (e. g. to help make the tweet a bit shorter, allowing more room for your comment), use MT — which usually stands for “modified tweet” — instead of RT.

four. Use “The. @TwitterHandle Tweet”

If you put someone’s Twitter handle at the really beginning of your tweet, Tweets assumes you’re @replying to that person — so they leave out that tweet from showing up on your Twitter followers’ rss feeds. While this is usually a good thing (otherwise, your feed might get taken over by @reply tweets), there might be times when you want your fans to see that tweet on the feeds. To do that, basically add a period right before their particular Twitter handle.

5. Try “The Problem/Solution Tweet”

Fear is a effective motivator. Nobody wants to suck, or fail, or flounder, or fall short, or what ever [negative result] you utilize. And if they do, they want to figure out how to remedy the situation, fast — that’s where you can help all of them. Also, if there’s a relevant hashtag you can use here, don’t forget to include it!

6. Use “The Stat or Truth Tweet”

Don’t just find any data point here — find something that will really interest your target audience. Once they have this little preview, they could want to read the full story to understand (1) why this data point is true, and (2) what they should do about it. Make absolutely certain your statistic is current and from a reputable supply.

7. Twitter update “The Endorsement Tweet”

This tweet can take many forms, but instead of tweeting a basic shared content tweet, you’re incorporating your endorsement to the tweet and possibly including info on why you enjoyed the piece.

8. Embed a SlideShare in a Tweet

Did you know you can embed a SlideShare presentation directly into a tweet? That way, your followers can switch through the presentation without ever having to leave Twitter (or the page a twitter update is embedded on).
In order to embed a SlideShare display into a tweet, all you have to do is link to the display and it will embed automatically. This is also true for documents and videos from SlideShare as well.

9. Ask a Question in a Tweet

Twitter, like all internet sites, is a two-way conversion. You need to regularly ask your supporters questions. These can be tied to an article you’ve read or even could be something a little more random (though still tied to your own brand). Its not all tweet needs to drive visitors a website page.

10. Use “The Tip or Advice Tweet”

Once again, not every tweet needs to generate traffic to a website page — in fact , tweeting bits of advice that obviously aren’t traffic drivers is a great way to build trustworthiness. Tweets like this are retweeted frequently and can get you a lot more engagement and followers, therefore don’t look as a “sacrifice. ”
Example: Do you pass reshare test? Be valuable upon #socialmedia: 1) Provide info 2) Provide analysis 3) Provide assistance 4) Become entertaining.
11. Try “The Inspiring Quote”

Everyone loves a daily dosage of inspiration! It’s difficult to research quotes and find the right one, so inspirational estimates are best shared when you arbitrarily come across them and get influenced yourself. So keep your eyes peeled for great quotes, takeaways, data, and so forth Just make sure to give credit where it’s due!

12. Post “The Photo Tweet”

You can find lots of ways to spice up your tweets with visible content. The simplest of them all is adding a photo to your tweet, utilizing the text part of the tweet as being a caption, and sharing that will with your followers. This is perfect for sharing pictures of your office space and employees, or promoting events and webinars. Remember to include any related Twitter handles or hashtags.
